What other better place to be writing about for my first blog on international trips, than Singapore?

Singapore is a melting pot of different cultures, languages, and nationalities that always manages to surprise a person. While I had heard a lot about Singapore, I had never really thought about what it would be like to go there for a vacation. I did not know about their national food, what languages are spoken and what Singapore was truly about. As I am typing this I realize that I sound as though I have been living under a rock for my entire life, as Singapore is one of the hottest places in the world at the moment. Safe to say, this country has left a lasting impact on my life, so much so that I itch to return back there, whether it be for another holiday or simply moving there.

This trip was actually a surprise birthday gift from my family. We had been talking about traveling someplace, either within India or traveling around Asia. However, the conversation around this holiday was headed nowhere, or at least it seemed to me like that at that moment. Leaving aside that, this trip would go on to be the highlight of 2022 for my family!
